Subscription to all Santa Clarita Valley Rentals or Properties for Lease via RSS

These are MLS based properties that are located within the Santa Clarita Valley that are for Rent or Lease.  There are other resources out there for you if you are not ready to buy or are not able.

Craigslist great resource for Rental and Properties for Lease – just make sure you get full disclosure from those who say that they are the “owner’s” representative – If they are not willing to give you all of the information about who they are, ID etc… Don’t start giving them deposits, cash, checks or CC#’s – Make sure they are truly the Owners Representative – Make sure their business card is not something they put together at Kinko’s – If you have too, tell them that you need something to verify that they have authority to represent the owner with this rental or lease. Look at the Agreement that they have with the owner.

Also, there are a lot of properties that are in some state of Foreclosure, maybe Pre-foreclosures, but these are concerns.  When are the Sheriff’s going to come and have you and your family removed? – So, also make sure that the owner is current and they are not just trying to make a quick buck before the Sheriff’s come to do a lock out.

You will want to make sure that the home is current on payments – Ask to see a bank statement showing that the owner is current on the mortgage. Remember, that there might be more than one loan – Either party can start the foreclosure proceedings against the owner, so you need to be inquisitive.

If you want a representative on your end – I suggest going to a Reputable company that handles property management.

*I hate these “*” things – but I need to clarify.  I despise when those referring take $$$$ from the earnings that were brought about by the Referring.  I want you to say we sent you because it might give you a bit more to hold over any vendor that we refer you too.  It is an accountability thing and not a monetary thing!!!

Either Way – make sure you don’t write checks, give cash or  your CC# when you find a deal that is too good to be true – it might just be that – too good to be!!!
