Are the Santa Clarita Starbucks bad for business?

by paris911 on December 22, 2010

I imagine that Starbucks is bad for business, if you are another Coffee Company.

Let me preface that statement by saying, “I love coffee, as long as it is hot, I don’t think I have ever had a bad cup.”Starbucks for business in Santa Clarita

Let me tell you that I have drank coffee that might have made others lose the contents that was in their stomachs.  The type of coffee that has been cooking from 2200hrs to 0400hrs, when we came back to the station from a perimeter or some sort of task force.

The type that left the Glass bottomed coffee pot scorched, where a Brillo Pad would be facing a challenge to clean it.

When we talk about business in Real Estate or in any other field – it is kind of refreshing to have an alternate place to go where we can meet with clients.  We have have two locations in the Santa Clarita Valley where we meet with clients in an office setting – one where we have “actual” offices at REMAX of Santa Clarita – 25101 The Old Road, Santa Clarita CA, 91381. Suites 201, 203 and 205.

The Other is also REMAX of Santa Clarita (Valencia), located on Dickason Drive, next to Valencia High School.  This is more a Remote meeting location for our team, but some find it more convenient.

What about Starbucks for Business Meetings? It has been a blessing to our Real Estate Team. We have met with many a buyer, getting to know them and showing them how we can best serve their Real Estate Interests.

Most Sellers of Real Estate want to a bit more “establishment” presence.  That is where the Home Based Agents have a hard time competing with those of us that have the “actual” and not “virtual” office.  Inside of our offices we have the awards displayed.  We did not purchase them either – they were actually won :-)

Also, for sellers, we have access via our advances with Technology, where we can have you view what we are looking at regarding comparable listings, sold’s, and other similar property types while you are with us in our REMAX offices.  That is a bit more difficult to do in a public forum like Starbucks.

However, never wanting to sacrifice a great meeting – Starbucks seems to have it wired as a very personable Social Setting. If you are operating a business that holds the client in higher regard than yourself – you might want to consider the “out of the office” meeting being a key to survival in this day of “instant gratification”.

Thanks for that Ryan – So, someone cannot use the coupon where they are not accepting it or where they are outlawed? Just making sure I “get it”.

I love Enterprise car rentals. We have rented many cars from enterprise car rental and have been very happy with the result. I’m not sure what this has to do with my blog, but I am happy to reply :-)
