I remember in the not so far past, some of the agents used to give out their codes to their clients so they could conduct Real Estate searches. That was against the rules, but that did not stop what was being done.
It is just the problem with proving it that was the issue. Without being able to prove that members of the Boards of Realtors were giving their access codes to clients, the issue became unenforceable by the Board of Realtors.
Technology enter stage left - URL recognition. With a three of the four boards we are members of (check out www.HomeValue911.com to see where I am referring to), they have that URL recognition software. So if I have a client in south Orange County log into the MLS using my password and I attempt to do the same log on - the system sees that and I loose my as#^$%. Therefore it is paramount that we obey the rules and that is what I like, a fair playing field.
We have ListingBook memberships open and available to all of our clients - It is a fantastic resource and in about two months it will become much more powerful. The board data is going to combine and make all data from all the boards of Realtors combine.
Try it and I think you will see that The Paris911 Team at REMAX of Santa Clarita and REMAX of Valencia is where it is. And you are the focus of our view.
