Being a full member of the Ventura County Coastal Association of Realtors is a huge step in the right direction for The 911 Team and Paris911. We have built our memberships with the different Boards of Realtors and have done well expanding our base within the Real Estate community. Other agents comment that the drive is too far - But the way we see it is if someone wants to utilize our services then the Honor is all ours. Our public service orientation dictates that we help and help we will.
Ventura County Coastal Association is one of three Boards of Realtors in Ventura County. It is full partners with Conejo and Simi Boards. All three of these boards communicate to each other their property listings and have the same database as well. Therefore being a member of one of the three is enough to get our clients the best and maximum advantage when hitching their trailers to us regarding our multiple board of Realtor Memberships.
Paris and I routinely find that having multiple board memberships is like it was for me wearing different instructor hats with the LAPD, Handgun, Shotgun, Glock, DRE, Radar and Laser - It definitely did a good job on keeping me informed and to teach police officers, you have to be on your toes and develop as a subject matter expert well beyond your instructor training. Not only do you have to be able to teach the information, you have to be able to do it as well. Because with the dynamics that pertained to the courses I taught - It demanded that I demonstrate before having the students perform the drills.
Real Estate is not too different when it comes to why we are SME’s with the Different Boards of Realtors. Most agents only serve one area. We have several due to the origination of our clients - Law Enforcement, Fire Department, Teachers, and other public servants, they work all over. There is also usually a commute involved and transfers more often than not. So Moving is somewhat of a practice with the larger Police and Sheriff Department, consider the California Highway Patrol. That is Statewide.
Property listings, we pull feeds directly from these boards - if you are looking to see what a home is worth or looking to see what "your" home is valued at, check out www.HomeValue911.com and there you will find a portal into the local Multiple listings service and Board of Realtors I am blogging about. In about 30 minutes after you input the data you will be e-mailed information that is from the source, Real-Time, not manipulated, hot off of the server with the target property and a snapshot of that local Real Estate Market. -CONNOR with HONOR
