<p>I thought about that for a second, because, let’s face it… as a Real Estate Agent, it is in my best short-term financial interests to say “now-now-now!”</p>
<p>The truth is, however, that my short term interest is not necessarily in my client’s long term best interest, so I had to give it some serious thought. The best answer that I could come up with is: “When you are <i>ready</i> to buy a home, then it is the best time for <i>you</i> to buy a home.</p>
<p>I know that sounds a little bit existential… sort of like, <i>“if you build it they will come.”</i> But it is the truth that only you can decide when the right time for you to buy is.</p>
<p>Now, if you are looking for advice on when is the best time to buy, <i>before the market goes back up</i>, then I would say: “Anyone who tells you that they know what the market is going to do tomorrow, is a loon… or is being less than completely honest with you.” There is no telling when the market will come back. But I can promise you this… <i>it will come back</i>.</p>
<p>In the long run, there is always one of two things that we can count on in any market… and that is, the market will either go up, or the market will come down. Right now, we are at (or very near) the bottom of a long, dark and desperate trench that the Real Estate market hasn’t seen in quite some time. However, according to sources such as the Wall Street Journal as recently as May 29<sup>th</sup>, the housing picture in California has been on the rise (in single digits) since April. </p>

<p>So, I tell my clients this. Don’t be afraid of the market. If you are <i>ready</i> to buy, then <i>now</i> is a great time to buy. If you are ready to <i>think</i> about buying, then <i>now</i> is a great time to look.</p>
<p>Don’t let an agent push you, prod you or otherwise put the pressure on you to buy. Only you can decide when… and we can help you when you are ready.</p>

<p>We have over four hundred searches being carried out at the same time thanks to our multiple board of realtor memberships. We can pull data from all across the southern California real estate market. And we do it well for our clients. <br/><br/>But something has happened in Santa Clarita, only on a smaller scale from the larger cities in rest of the country. Shortsales have become the majority of the listings for sale. But being handled by those that don&#8217;t know how to handle their negotiation or they outsource the negotiation and charge the client directly. <br/><br/>With the foreclosures being haulted from the tarp restrictions and now another 90 day hold to give loan mods a chance to be worked through, stand by until the end of August. We have been telling our clients early winter or late fall. It is nice being able to call you own shot!!
